Simply replace your 1/2″ pipe thread drain plug with the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod to protect your tank.

• It is recommended to Inspect your Anode Rod monthly

For maximum performance, replace your RV Water Heater Anode Rod when less than one half of the rod remains

Directions for Replacement (Very easy to do)

1. Ensure the water Heater is switched off from Gas or & Electricity and Isolated from Water flow
2. Let the Water in the Tank cool down so that you are not scalded
3. Remove Old Anode or 1/2″ Thread Drain Plug by using a 1/2″ Socket
   1. This will also drain the Tank
4. Insert to seal
5. Turn on the Water to fill the Tank, Then Electricity & Gas
